Operation Northwoods

According to Wikipedia: Operation Northwoods was a proposed false flag operation against American citizens that originated within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other U.S. government operatives to both stage and actually commit acts of terrorism against American military and civilian targets, blaming them on the Cuban government, and using it to justify a war against Cuba. The possibilities detailed in the document included the possible assassination of Cuban immigrants, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes to be shot down or given the appearance of being shot down, blowing up a U.S. ship, and orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities. The proposals were rejected by President John F. Kennedy.

Though there is plenty of content about Operation Northwoods and the contents were declassified years ago, I was unable to find the actual document elsewhere online, so I decided to publish it in full here. If you know of it elsewhere online, I'd be happy to link those resources here as well. Regardless, the more exposure the truth can receive, the better. In my opinion, reading a synopsis pales in comparison to recognizing the gravity of these ideas by seeing firsthand their articulation and presented communication, as available below.

I would also just add that though it is said that these specific ideas were never actually acted out - the real life developments that followed include the assassination of the president who supposedly rejected the plan, the Gulf of Tonkin incident to justify the Vietnam War escalation, the lead up to the Gulf War, and the Twin Towers' framed attack/controlled demolition to lead into the War in the Middle East.

This wasn't the first, nor the only, strategic write-up of its kind.

The benefit of reading this document today resides in further identifying/understanding the history of our country, its leaders, their motives and values, and how we have allowed ourselves to be led to the current day and time.
